About the programme
Veterinary Pharmacy is a branch of veterinary medicine that deals with the development, manufacture, storage, quality control, and proper use of medicines intended for animals.
Main objectives:
- To develop and manufacture veterinary medicines.
- To ensure the quality, safety, and effectiveness of veterinary medicinal products.
- To organize the proper storage and distribution of medicines.
- To provide veterinarians with recommendations on drug selection, dosage, and administration.
- To monitor and prevent adverse effects of veterinary medicines.
Main groups of medicines used in veterinary pharmacy:
- Antibiotics
- Antiparasitic drugs
- Vaccines
- Vitamin and mineral preparations
- Anti-inflammatory drugs

- Antiseptic and disinfectant agents
Importance of veterinary pharmacy:
