University of Business and Science (UBS) is a private higher education institution founded in 2022 and located in Namangan, Uzbekistan, with an additional branch campus in Tashkent. The university operates within the national higher education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan and is oriented toward innovation, applied education, and international academic standards.

UBS currently operates four modern campuses in Namangan and delivers education through five faculties:

Preschool and School Education, Economics, Medicine, Philology, and Social Sciences and Information Technologies. The university offers over 50 bachelor’s degree programmes, 15 master’s programmes, and 10 doctoral (PhD) fields, covering a broad range of academic and professional disciplines. The total student population exceeds 20,000 students.

Responding to contemporary educational needs and global trends, UBS is planning to introduce distance and blended learning formats starting from the next academic year. In this context, the university is preparing the necessary academic, methodological, and technological frameworks to ensure quality online and hybrid education delivery.

The mission of UBS is to provide high-quality, student-centered higher education that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, supports lifelong learning, and enhances graduates’ employability in national and international labor markets. The university places particular emphasis on curriculum modernization, digital transformation in education, and outcome-based learning.

UBS actively supports research and academic development across its faculties. Academic staff and doctoral students are encouraged to participate in research activities, interdisciplinary projects, scientific conferences, and publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals. Research activities are aligned with the university’s strategic priorities in education, business, medicine, philology, and social sciences.

Internationalization is a key strategic objective of UBS. The university maintains institutional partnerships with higher education institutions in South Korea and China and is actively expanding cooperation with European universities, particularly within the framework of Erasmus+ programmes. UBS seeks to enhance international academic mobility, joint curriculum development, and participation in capacity-building and research-oriented projects.

Through its expanding academic infrastructure, commitment to innovation, and growing international engagement, the University of Business and Science aims to contribute to the development of a competitive, modern, and internationally connected higher education environment in Uzbekistan.

The University of Business and Science (UBS) has established a modern Language Center aimed at supporting both international and local students in developing essential language competencies for academic, professional, and intercultural communication.

The UBS Language Center offers intensive Uzbek language courses specifically designed for international students who wish to study, live, and integrate successfully in Uzbekistan. The programme focuses on practical communication skills, academic vocabulary, cultural orientation, and everyday interaction. Courses are structured according to internationally recognized language proficiency levels and are delivered by qualified and experienced instructors.

In addition to Uzbek language training, the Language Center provides courses in:

  • English

  • Russian

  • Turkish

  • Korean

The English language courses are designed to enhance academic writing, speaking, listening, and reading skills, as well as preparation for international language proficiency examinations. Russian language programmes support students planning to study or work in Russian-speaking environments. Turkish and Korean language courses are offered in response to growing academic and professional cooperation with partner institutions in Türkiye and the Republic of Korea.

The Language Center applies interactive and student-centered teaching methodologies, incorporating digital learning tools, blended learning formats, and communicative approaches. Small group instruction ensures personalized attention and effective learning outcomes.

Upon successful completion of the courses, participants receive an official certificate issued by the University of Business and Science.

Through its Language Center, UBS aims to promote multilingual competence, intercultural dialogue, and global academic mobility.

Beynəlxalq tərəfdaşlıq

Internationalization is one of the strategic priorities of UBS. The university has established formal cooperation agreements with higher education institutions in South Korea, China, Türkiye, and several European countries.

UBS has signed a cooperation agreement with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT, USA), aimed at strengthening academic collaboration, innovation development, and the adoption of advanced educational practices.

The university is also actively involved in programmes within the framework of Erasmus+, supporting student and staff mobility, academic exchange, and capacity-building initiatives with European partners.

Through these partnerships, UBS implements joint academic activities, research cooperation, and mobility programmes, contributing to the integration of international standards into teaching and research processes.

UBS continues to expand its global network to enhance academic quality and provide students with internationally relevant competencies.

The Faculty of Medicine at the University of Business and Science prepares highly qualified healthcare professionals equipped with modern medical knowledge and practical skills. The faculty offers degree programs in General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing.

The faculty is located in a modern seven-story academic building designed to provide an advanced learning environment. The first three floors house a fully functioning teaching clinic, allowing students to integrate theoretical learning with real clinical practice throughout their studies. This unique setting enables students to develop clinical competencies and gain valuable hands-on experience without interrupting their academic education.

The Faculty of Economics at the University of Business and Science prepares highly qualified professionals for careers in economics, business, and management. The faculty combines strong academic foundations with practice-oriented learning, enabling students to gain hands-on experience through business projects, internships, and case-based learning.

The faculty offers academic programs in Business Management, Marketing, Tourism and Hospitality, Accounting, Finance, and other economics-related fields. Teaching is supported by modern educational technologies, digital learning tools, and international best practices.

Students study under the guidance of experienced academic staff, participate in research activities, complete internships with industry partners, and develop entrepreneurial and leadership skills. Graduates are well prepared for successful careers in public and private organizations, financial institutions, business enterprises, and international companies.

The Faculty of Philology at the University of Business and Science prepares highly qualified specialists in language education, linguistics, and literature. The faculty offers modern academic programs in Uzbek, Russian, and English Philology and Language Teaching, providing students with strong linguistic, literary, and communication skills. The curriculum combines language acquisition, linguistics, translation studies, literature, and modern teaching methodologies.

The faculty is distinguished by its international academic environment, where experienced local academics work alongside foreign professors and visiting scholars.
